    seem to bind up or is it not working at all? We may have the solution for you, this is a
    new #2 bow
    made just for your car.  The scissor top cars are known to be troublesome and one common problem is the
    #2 bow
    can get bent, stripped out where the ball joint pivot brackets are attached or the tacking material rots and falls out and the top will not fold properly.  We are now manufacturing new
    #2 bows
    (the
    #2 bow
    is over your head when you are sitting in the car) that are a duplicate of the original.  We start with a steel channel and we press in a special tacking material, the tacking material is designed to hold staples better than the original material. Each bow is bent on special tooling to ensure the the curve is exact, the holes for the ball joint pivot brackets are extruded for more thread depth and then threaded to the proper size, they are a direct fit and may cure your convertible problems.
    The ball joint pivot brackets are sold separate and are available in our eBay store.
