1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon.
We are offering a 1974 VW Van "project". It has been sitting in my mother's garage for at least 35 years. The title has been lost and it requires actual in person inspection by North Texas Auto Theft Task Force or Fort Worth Police Auto Pound. They require an appointment. Soonest appointments are in lat October. Other items are required to attain title which is above my pay grade. I will assist with any documentation and letters of assessment from my mother for new owner.
The good news are all four tires are inflated and roll. My father was an aerospace engineer and this was one project he never finished.
It does not run and engine (or most parts) are disassembled and with the van. The odometer states 43,833 miles, which could be true. Last inspection sticker is 1982. Body is in good shape, no rust. However it need a HUGE amount of work.
Any further assessment of condition is outside my area of expertise.
