    Product Description:-
The bowl that sings - Singing bowls. These bowls are commonly called as Tibetan Singing Bowls, gong bowls, or rin gongs. Some call them as Himalayan bowls or suzu gongs. In all the meanings a singing bowl or a gong is a metal object that produces a particular type of sound. So these singing bowls can also be called as singing bells or bell bowls. They are not bells that are hanged outside the temples but are bowls that are placed on a base, say ground or a table. They come with a stick normally made up of wood to strike them with to produce a sound. The striking of the bowls with the wooden stick in a set pattern or style produces a harmony that can create soothing effects for those hearing it. These singing bowls are increasingly used in many therap ies by healthcare providers to relax mind and body across globe and especially in China, Nepal and India. In India a version of these bowls are known as Jal tarring where in seven bowls filled with water are used to produce soothing music create a healing effect. The most common design on the outside of the singing bowl is the om mani padme hum mantra. There are also designs like the eternity knot symbol on the bottom of the singing bowl, and the double dorje symbol. These Tibetan Buddhist symbols add another layer of spirituality to these lovely meditation bowls.
