    Description

    Instruction Book for Lear ADF-6 - 1940s
    One
    technical manual
    for the
    ADF-6 Automatic Direction Finder
    as manufactured by
Lear-Avia, Inc. Dayton Municipal Airport Dayton, Ohio, USA. It's not dated.
It  covers the ADF-6, which sure looks like the ARN-6 system as made by military during WWII and rebranded wearing Lear clothing for what appears to be early airline or civil transport industry application. This is NOT a military TO. This is the instruction booklet for said system.
Oddly, some of the schematics inside are dated September 1940.
About 50 pages... black on white printing - softbound covered - and measures 11.5 x 8.5 inches.
Lots of illustrations, schematics, photos and some pictures of the ADF-6 radio system and its components. Nice manual. No stray pen or pencil markings inside and appears to be complete with no missing pages. Bound with a metal folding clip inside cover.
