    Description

    Embossed "Sawyer's Crystal Blueing" bottle (1880 - 1910).   Blueing was added to the rinse water of white fabrics, especially those that had yellowed over time to make them white again.   Aqua, 5 1/2" tall.   No chips or cracks but considerable haze and dirt around the lip.
