    Description

I've bought and sold lots of vintage Danelectro guitars over the years and many times the vibrato equipped models have been missing the arm, the "wiggle stick" as they are sometimes called.  I have not been able to find a source for these so with a fully equipped garage workshop I decided to make my own.  These are pretty darn good replicas and I've sold probably close to a hundred or so over the years.  I'm getting better using my metal-working tools so the latest versions are a little less cobby than some of the early ones but a Danelectro is an exercise in imprecision so all my repro arms look just right.  I have one original Dano bar that I use as a template so I have an accurate model.  The originals are chromed steel, mine are a higher quality steel that is close to stainless but are not chromed.  They are all hand finished so you will see some scratches and fingerprints and file marks and other artifacts of the bending and cutting and drilling and polishing.
When you purchase one of my bars you will get the correct hardware
(that means a correct bevel head screw, nylon washers and nylon locking nut, as well as a reference photo to help the installation)
to attach it to your 1452, 1450, 1451, 4011, 4021, Coral Hornet, etc...   This bar will work on any of these Danelectro/Silvertone/Coral models but I have sold a few to owners of some of the newer Danelectros and they were able to make them work there too.  A screwdriver and 3/8" wrench are all that is needed to install these.  The steel is malleable enough to allow them to be bent differently if needed, if you have a vice or way to hold them you can raise or lower the angle of the bar easily.
The photo of 3 bars shows top to bottom:  Recent production bar from Dead-on '67, middle is original bar from Silvertone 1452, bottom is my reproduction bar.  My bar looks thicker but dimensionally it is identical to the original material.
The 1452 Silvertone guitar is shown as a reference only, it does not come attached to your new vibrato bar!
