    Description

    This is an original free blown glass hat whimsey used for salt or as a toothpick holder. The deep, forest green, open pontil hat dates from about 1830 to 1870. The hat is green and measures about 1 7/8" tall, 4 3/8" long & 3" wide. The side brims are turned up. The hat is in wonderful condition with no nicks, chips or damage.
