Early USN USMC Jet Pilot & Crew Integrated Torso Harness All Rocket Jet Fittings

This is an original Rare early ejection seat USN USMC Jet Pilot & Crew Integrated Torso Harness  with All Rocket Jet Fittings. This is the second style of USN torso harness to come out. The first one did not have the straps to mount the Mark 3C life Preserver as this one does. You can see that it also has a zippered holder for the pilot's oxygen mask hose. Based on the direction of the hose holder this harness was probably used by A-4 or F-4 pilots. The D shaped buckles are called rocket jet fittings. They were eventually replaced by the still in use KOCH fittings. The tag on this harness reads BUAER US NAVY suit integrated torso harness it has a spec and contract number. It was made by Switlik parachute company. It is a size large short. This item is in excellent condition however the straps have some color fading. This harness has the name Mikitka written on it in a few places. There is no date on the harness and I do not know anything about the name on the harness.
