    Description

    This bottle has obviously been dug and has had a rough life, but it is a rare example of a bottle that is usually found much more frequently in cobalt.
    A soda or beer bottle from about 1850, it is 7” tall, and is deeply embossed, "S.S.KNICKERBOCKER/ 1848/ 164 W. 18th St N.Y.”
    There are large chips off the double collar lip and the bottom edge, along with cloudiness and scrapes (see all the photos).
