    Description

This auction is for a lot of 3 stoneware, r
    ound, shoe blacking bottles that
stand 6¼ - 7 1/8 inches tall, a fine group in remarkable condition and one is stamped 'Blacking Bottle 14 J ? D'.
    These bottles were
dug in downtown Philadelphia, on one of the 5 major construction projects in that city, in the mid to late 1970s, and have now come to market.
Please see the Condition Description above for additional detail. One bid buys the 3 bottles and the brass spike pictured. ASK questions BEFORE you buy. If payment is not received within 5 days a non-paying buyer case will be opened. Please do not ask me to end my auctions early. I feel it is unfair to my regular customers who may not get a chance to bid on newly listed items - no exceptions, thank you in advance for your understanding.
