PLANETARY BODIES
is an outstanding
collection of Double Jacquard patterns featuring "Earthrise", a view of the crescent Earth from the surface of the Moon, and a spectacular "Saturn" design. Both stitch patterns are included on the accompanying DAK disk, and may be used on the
men's pullover pattern in finished sizes 40-52, or the women's tunic-style sweater in finished sizes 38-52. (These two garments are also
included in Scott's book TRAVELS.)
Includes step-by-step instructions for knitting, cut-and-sew shaping and finishing.
The pattern pieces are knitted as "blanks" consisting of ribbing and a square piece
with
no complicated shaping required.
You use a sewing machine or serger to shape and assemble the garments. Therefore, these garments knit up quickly.
CELESTIAL BLANKETS
features two bold afghans, including a two-color solar flare "Solar Prominence", and a three-color "Comet". These stitch pattern are included on the DesignaKnit disk. The step-by-step instructions are geared toward the
first time Double Jacquard knitter.
The book also features a seamless grafting technique for a very professional finish. You may also choose from three different edgings.
Although specifically written for Brother/Knitking 4.5mm Electronic Machines with Ribber and Double Bed Color Changer, the patterns can easily be adapted to all Japanese Electronic Machines.
