It has a curvilinear, graduated hollow form, w/both complimentary brass & copper metals. The copper is smooth & welded together along a seam, to compose the horn's tubular form. Highly decorative, ornate, raised, bas-relief brass sections accentuate the ends & middle of this exciting, compelling cultural artifact from the Tibetan people & an instrument used in ceremonial Buddhist rituals & celebrations. The horn displays time-honored, ancestral design, hand-tooling & hand decoration. Prominently feat is the head of the mythological sea dragon named 'Makara,' w/an open mouth & 2-halved copper tongue, protruding conspicuously from its mouth.
