VARTAN 84 Persian Silver USAF Air Attache Intelligence Trophy Tray 1966

Description

This is a presentation platter presented to a U.S. Air Force Major and his wife in 1966 by The Attache Association Of Iran, Tehran with engraved signatures of numerous people affiliated with the Attache.   The Major  had a distinguished USAF career as a pilot, intelligence officer and political/military affairs officer and served as an Air Attache in Iran during the 60’s and other assignments throughout Asia.
The tray is signed VARTAN A.O. With the silver parsi hallmark indicating 84 or .840 silver content.  14 3/8” x 10.5”;  weight approximately 930 grams.
