    Description

Waltham 8 Day Car / Airplane Clock
When Charles Lindbergh took off from New York to fly to Paris on his dashboard he had a Waltham 8-day clock just like this one.  It had to have an all-aluminum body so it wouldn't be affected by magnetism. On the front dial it had to have a pointer at 12 o'clock.
This clock was also used in WWI and found in our American biplanes.  It is a very, very rare clock to find one in this excellent condition.  on the 7 o'clock tab it's marked Waltham Watch Co. (WW Co.)  I have the clock mounted on a homemade wooden housing, with a spy glass built into it to see the (WW Co.) the marking is very unique.  This is the rarest Waltham vehicle clock made and a collector's dream!
I'm listing it low at 0 or best offer.
