    Description

XB-70A VALKYRIE Honeycomb Crash Artifact. June 8, 1966
55 years ago the #2 North American XB-70A Valkyrie was lost in a
midair accident with a NASA F-104N chase plane north of Barstow
    California.
This piece of stainless steel skin and honeycomb was cut from a larger
panel piece recovered years ago near the crash site.  It is about 1.20"
    x 0.95" x 0.55" in size.
Nice artifact with exterior skin with white paint.
